Series Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the preceptor should be able to:

• Develop at the professional level through teaching in an interprofessional team
• Learn to facilitate PA student learning through coaching, listening, providing feedback, and applying active learning methods
• Manage all aspects of the training, including: organizing activities, time management, and applying rules and regulations
• Utilize interpersonal and communication skills, in addition to cultural competency, to effectively collaborate with trainees and other health professionals involved in the training
• Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge and clinical skills to the learner

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physician assistants who precept UNT Health's Physician Assistant students.
