The Patient Safety Summit is designed to equip healthcare professionals with strategies to enhance patient safety through effective leadership, intergenerational collaboration, and regulatory compliance. The summit will focus on creating high-performing teams, fostering psychological saffety, adapting regulatory changes, discuss Texas legislative changes, leverage generational diversity to optimize patient outcomes and staff engagement. Will discuss upcoming CMS conditions of participation, impacts of Texas legislative updates, and implementation of the 4S Model to lead sustainable change in healthcare environments.
The Patient Safety Summit is held virtually every Thursday in September September 4, 11, 18, & 25 - 10 am to noon CT.
Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth and DFW Hospital Council Foundation. The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
