Linda Scribner, BA, CPHQ, HACP, LSSGB
Linda Scribner is the Director of Quality Services at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. She is a quality professional with experience in healthcare quality, safety, medical staff peer review, accreditation and improvement science. She earned her degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. She obtained her CPHQ credential in 1989 and her HACP credential in 2018. Scribner has worked at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, Lakeland Medical Center in New Orleans prior to Katrina and at Baylor Irving Medical Center prior to her joining Methodist Dallas Medical Center in 2004. She has co-authored two articles published in the Journal of Healthcare Management and the Journal of Healthcare Quality.
Scribner has served on the Board of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in several positions including President. She has served as Team Leader for NAHQ's Leadership Development Team and several years as a team member and chair for the Healthcare Quality Certification Commission (HQCC) for the CPHQ exam. She is currently a certified instructor with NAHQ for the national CPHQ Exam. She has a career of professional service with NAHQ as well as serving on the boards for both the Florida and Texas Associations for Healthcare Quality.
Scribner is a recipient of the Florida Association for Healthcare Quality Outstanding Quality Professional, the Texas Association for Healthcare Quality Donna Rossa Distinguished Service Award, and is the recipient of the NAHQ Claire Glover Distinguished Member Award.
