Tamra Acierni, MSN, RN, CPPS is Director of Patient Safety for Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) for the last nine years.  In this role, she is responsible for the oversight of the healthcare system’s efforts to develop and implement evidence-based patient safety practices intended to help the organization purse its vision of Zero Preventable Harm. Tamra promotes an organizational culture conducive to the development of patient safety innovations, and guides team members in the adoption of patient safety values. She aims to operationalize patient safety goals across the BSWH system. She has been with BSWH since 2001.
