Patti Taylor, MHA, RRT
Patti Taylor is the Director of Quality and Patient Safety and Community Health at the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council Foundation since 2013.
She is a Registered Respiratory Therapist since 1985, working beside care at several hospitals in the DFW area and became the Director of Cardiopulmonary in 1998 at a 300 bed hospital, managing a staff of over 50 employees.
She received her Bachelor of Business and her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University.
In her current role she supports over 90 hospitals in the 17 counties surrounding Dallas and works with Hospitals and community partners to decrease Hospital Acquired Infections, improve access to Mental Health care and supports research requests by analyzing data such as NHSN, THCIC and administrative claims data.. She organizes and runs 10 committees at the Hospital Council and provides educational opportunities for both hospital staff and the community.
