Jo Anna Leuck, M.D., is TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine's assistant dean for curriculum, overseeing the
development of all educational programs.

Dr. Leuck served as the vice chair/program director in the department of emergency medicine at John Peter Smith Health Network for the last four years. Prior to her role at JPS, she served as the director of medical simulation at Carolinas Medical Center, helping develop curriculum for the hospital and launching their longitudinal integrated clerkship as a satellite campus for the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Leuck also travels internationally to lowresource settings to educate physicians in residency programs about emergency medicine procedures. She now serves the School of Medicine full time while practicing at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.

Dr. Leuck is a TCU alumna, graduating with a degree in biology. She earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed residency training at Carolinas Medical Center, where she served as chief resident.
