Pre-Registration is now closed.  You can register onsite tomorrow 9/13/18 at the Botanical Garden.  Registration will start at 8 a.m.

 

Each year the Tarrant County Infant Health Network, hosts an educational summit aimed at raising awareness on improving infant health in Tarrant County. The 17th Annual Summit plans to focus on families and ways to improve their health and social outcomes. Our presenters will have a broad spectrum of topics, from STD’s, contraception, maternal mortality, the economic impact of poverty, grief counselling, post-partum depression and violence against women. The Infant Health Network is focused on making an impact on infant mortality in Tarrant County, to help achieve this they are pursuing a program called Collective Impact, this involves partnering with other stakeholders to work together on initiatives that would allow the Network to reach this goal.

Deadline for Abstract Submission:

EXTENDED DEADLINE: August 17th at 5 PM CST

The Tarrant County Infant Health Network is currently accepting abstracts for poster presentations during the 2018 Infant Health Summit in one or more of the following subject categories:

  • Health equity
  • Infant mortality and morbidity
  • Environmental health
  • Infant mental health
  • Adolecent health, sexuality, and pregnancy prevention
  • Fatherhood involvement
  • Preconception and interconception health
  • Family planning
  • Prematurity/pretern birth/birth weight
  • Birth defects
  • Life course perspective adn its impact on pregnancy outcomes
  • Health care systems

Paying by Personal or Company Check?

In order to pay with a check you need to ensure that you have a profile completed in our learning management system.

Please have attendee go to http://ce.unthsc.edu to create an account. “Create account” link is in top right corner of the page. Please let our office know when the account has been created and we will register them as “pending”. Once payment has been received registration will be completed and a confirmation email will be sent to the registrant. Be sure to include the attendees name(s) with the check.
