Stephanie Davidson, DO

Las Vegas, Nevada

Stephanie Davidson, DO has been practicing in the Las Vegas area since 2000. She specializes in Cardiac Pediatric and General Pediatric Anesthesia. Her practice consists of adult anesthesia for general surgical, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and adult cardiac procedures.

Dr. Davidson has a passion for traveling to other countries to provide pediatric anesthesia in underserved areas. The experience is always amazing, and life-changing, not only for the patients, but for her. It’s a pure form of medicine delivery for those that otherwise might not receive care.

Dr. Davidson was the project lead and instrumental in launching Medaxion as her practices EHR solution to continue the group’s forward-thinking and cutting edge practice of anesthesia in Southern Nevada.

Richard Dutton, MD, MBA

Richard P. Dutton, MD, MBA earned his BA from Harvard University in 1983, his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1987, and an MBA at the University of Maryland in 2001. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston in 1991, and then served as an attending anesthesiologist at the National Naval Medical Center while on active duty in the
United States Navy.

In 2009, Dr. Dutton was named the first Executive Director of the American Society of Anesthesiologist’s Anesthesia Quality Institute, and launched the National Anesthesia Clinical Outcomes Registry. In 2015, Dr. Dutton left the ASA to become the first Chief Quality Officer for United States Anesthesia Partners. Dr. Dutton serves on numerous ASA and federal committees working to develop measures
for anesthesia performance, perioperative patient experience, and new models of healthcare, and continues to practice anesthesiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Catherine Green, MBA, CMPE

Catherine has nearly 30 year’s leadership experience and extensive knowledge in anesthesiology practice management, service contracting, provider agreements, billing and operations. She has successfully lead both physician and corporately owned practices and provides consulting services to both community-owned and for-profit hospitals.

Michael Hicks, MD, MBA

Fort Worth, Texas

Michael Hicks, MD, MBA, is Executive Vice President for Clinical Affairs at UNT Health Science Center. Dr. Hicks has held numerous leadership positions in a wide variety of clinical delivery organizations that has given him expertise in a variety of areas of healthcare and healthcare management. He is a frequent invited speaker on practice management, group practice development, strategic planning, negotiation and decision-making theory and practice, and consolidation in the health care industry. Dr. Hicks has been active in health care merger and acquisition transactions with experience on both the buyer and seller sides.

Michael Hicks is co-founder, past President and past board chairman of Pinnacle Partners in Medicine. Pinnacle is the major anesthesia provider in North Texas and one of the largest single-specialty groups in the United States.

In addition to his duties of EVP at UNT Health Science Center, Dr. Hicks has served as a Regional Medical Director for Hospital Corporation of America’s Ambulatory Surgery Division and as CEO of EmCare Anesthesia Services, a division of Envision Healthcare Holdings, Inc.

Hicks earned his MD degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine, his MBA from the University of Dallas and his MS in health management from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (Anesthesiology), the American Board of Preventive Medicine (Clinical Informatics) and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Trent Hofmockel, BA

Nashville, Tennessee

Trent Hofmockel is Vice President of Client Services and Development for Medaxion, Inc. His role requires initial and ongoing engagement with Clinical staff as well as running Quality Programs for the organization. Most recently this included successfully writing and applying for the company’s first approved Qualified Clinical Data Registry - Advance QCDR. Prior to joining Medaxion, Trent spent nearly 18 years as a Practice Manager for EMMI Physician Services, Inc. During this tenure he was in charge of managing 18 anesthesia practices in two states culminating in close to 400 anesthesia providers. Trent has a BA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.

Mauricio Mejia, MD

Denver, Colorado

Mauricio Mejia, M.D., served on the Greater Colorado Anesthesia (GCA) Peri-operative Surgical Home and Compliance Committees. He also serves as Medical Director of the National Jewish Minimally Invasive Diagnostic Center (MIDC); the Provider Advisory Group for Electronic Medical Records & Order Entry for HealthOne–Rose Medical Center; the Multi-Disciplinary Quality Improvement Committee for Centura Health–Parker Adventist Hospital; and on the Bundled Payment Pilot Study for Total Joint Replacement at Centura Health–Porter Adventist Hospital.

Dr. Mejia earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, graduating with honors in Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Epidemiology, Immunology, General Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He studied Pediatric ICU Rotation at Harvard University Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, and studied Emergency Medicine Rotation at Hospital Universitario del Valle in Cali, Colombia. Dr. Mejia earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical-Mechanical Engineering with minors in Biology and Spanish from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Mejia completed Anesthesiology Residencies at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Parkland Hospital at Baylor University; Children’s Medical Center, St Paul Medical Center Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Dallas, Texas and a Pediatric Internship at Stanford University Medical Center–Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, located in Palo Alto, California.

Michael Stabile, MD, MBA

Nashville, Tennessee

Dr. Michael Stabile is a graduate of Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey and The College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, New Jersey. He was both a Medical Intern and Surgical Resident in Newark, NJ. He did his Anesthesia / Intensive Care Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center / Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.. He did an additional Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship at Beth Israel. He was selected to be a Senior Registrar in Anesthetics / Intensive Care at The Prince Henry/ Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He was a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Beth Israel prior to entering private practice. He has subsequently held academic appointments at St. Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine , Nashville, Tennessee. He has served as Chief of Anesthesia and Chief of Staff at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, a seven hundred (700) bed tertiary hospital which was the first hospital in Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).

Dr. Stabile obtained an MBA at The Massey School of Belmont University , Nashville, Tennessee. He has been a corporate consultant for SAFERSLEEP, LLC which he co-founded with Professor Alan Merry. He previously served as Senior North American Medical Advisor to LINDE, AG based in Munich, Germany. He has consulted for NONIN TECHNOLOGIES, SOMANETICS, and GE HEALTHCARE. He also advises for INTELESENS, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Dr. Stabile was a founding partner of PHYMED HEALTHCARE, a Nashville based provider of Perioperative Services. He has spoken at both the World Congress of Surgery and The World Congress of Anesthesia. He has presented over thirty (30) grand rounds presentations both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Stabile has been involved with Operation Smile International. He has served as their Chief of Anesthesia and organized the World Journey of Smiles (with Randy Sherman and Henry Issenberg) in 2007. This international initiative performed 4100 cleft lip / cleft palate operations at 50 mission sites over a ten (10) day period. He has been a Frist Humanitarian Award National Finalist (named in honor of HCA's Founder, Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr.), a Lionel Glassman Award Winner (for Operation Smile International) and a Hero of Humanity Award Winner.

Christopher Thu, MD

Austin, Texas

Christopher S. Thu, MD is a practicing anesthesiologist with Capitol Anesthesiology Association and has been in practice in Austin, TX for nine years. Dr. Thu is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine and completed his anesthesia training at Stanford University. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and Advanced Perioperative TEE. At Capitol Anesthesiology Association, Dr. Thu is a member of the Board of Directors and is the Manpower Committee Chairman. Additionally, he is faculty at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas in Austin.
